Rachel is a Licensed Master Social Worker, specializing in children, adolescents, and families. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree with a dual major in Psychology and Sociology from SUNY Geneseo and Masters Degree in Social Work from the University at Albany. She has experience providing individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in various community and school-based settings. With a passion for supporting individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, Rachel offers compassionate and empathetic therapy to help clients thrive in their unique journeys.
Specializing in the diverse needs of all clients, Rachel uses a trauma-informed, strengths-based model to create a warm, inclusive space that emphasizes empowerment, self-discovery, and advocacy. Rachel utilizes various evidence-based treatment modalities, including CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, play therapy, narrative therapy, and other techniques tailored to each client’s individualized needs.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading, taking in the beauty of the Adirondacks, visiting the ocean, spending time with family and friends, and spoiling her Goldendoodle Nola.
