"Elizabeth Levy is a New York State licensed Occupational Therapist who is board certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). She received her bachelor's degree from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania in 2011 before going on to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2015. Elizabeth utilized her occupational therapy expertise while working as an Optometric Vision Therapist at Fox Vision Development in Latham, NY from 2015 until 2021. During this time, Elizabeth completed extensive training in vision development and rehabilitation, becoming a Certified Optometric Vision Therapist (COVT) in 2017. In 2022, Elizabeth accomplished a lifelong goal and obtained her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Maria College. Elizabeth is also a New York State Registered EMT-B.
Elizabeth has experience in a variety of settings and with a wide range of populations including regular education and special education school settings, outpatient rehabilitation and clinics, skilled nursing facilities and geriatrics, as well as with at-risk youth in a group home setting. She currently works with children ages birth to 5 in preschool, home, and community settings. Along with vision development, Elizabeth is passionate about the areas of sensory processing, primitive reflex integration, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and motor skill development including handwriting.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys volunteering with South Queensbury Fire Department and Queensbury EMS, boating, traveling, advocating for Lyme and Tick-Borne disease awareness, and spending time with her family including her certified therapy dog, Lilo."
